Hide your personal folder inside a jpg file

We have to share a single PC with our office colleagues or family members.  Hiding our confidential file or folder is arisen as an important issue. It just likes a camouflage thing. You can hide your confidential file inside a single jpg file. Belief me, it’s not a fun. I am serious and going to tell about a simple but fantastic trick. First, paste a jpg file as well as your confidential folder on the desktop. Then, compress the confidential folder by using compression tool like Winrar, Winzip, Winace. Hope you successfully compress the confidential folder. The next step is use Command Prompt.  Let follow the following steps to put aside the Folder into the jpg file.

1. Run>> cmd (Press ENTER)

2. Write down cd "desktop" and press ENTER

3. Write down copy /b picturename.jpg + foldername.rar outputfilename.jpg and press ENTER

(Here, picturename represents the name of the jpg file, foldername represents the name of the compressed folder and outputfilename represents the desired name of the output file. Suppose, your jpg file name is 12.jpg, your folder name is 23.rar and your desired picture name would be 34.jpg, then you must write down copy /b 12.jpg + 23.rar 34.jpg)

If you compress the folder through Winzip then formula would be copy /b picturename.jpg + foldername.zip outputfilename.jpg

I expect you able to successfully follow the all steps and hide your confidential folder inside a new named jpg file. Now you double click the new output jpg file. What do you see? Just a picture, is it not? Your Folder is in the picture. No password is required but you can save your important folder from others.

I guess a new question is arisen in your mind is that how can I find out my important Folder. Don’t worry. It is very simple. Again let open Command Prompt. 

1. Write down cd "desktop" and press ENTER

2. And, Lets type ren outputfilename.jpg outputfilename.rar or zip and press ENTER

(Here, outputfilename.jpg represents the new copied jpg file name and outputfilename.rar represents the desired output file name)

3. Now extract the output file by using compression tool and get back your confidential Folder.

It does not always need to make your experiment on the desktop. You can choose your desired location or after hiding the file you can copy it and paste from desktop to the desired location even can send to your friend’s e-mail box.

Use your Keyboard as mouse’s alternative

Yesterday I had discovered that my PC mouse was not worked.  I did not become astonish. Cause I am familiar with this type situation. When I have to execute any important task, some unexpected problem is come about.  So when I had discovered that my PC mouse was died just then I followed a simple trick and managed my PC keyboard as mouse’s alternative.  This is very simple trick, press windows key and go to Control Panel>> Accessibility Options. Then press left arrow key and go to mouse Tab. Now press Tab key, when your selection point is on Use MouseKeys press spacebar key to select Use MouseKeys option and now press ENTER.  You successfully have done all tasks. To finish the end task press LeftCtrl + LeftAlt +NumLock and you will find a new cursor point on the screen. You use NumLock key 8, 4, 6, 2 to move the cursor point and 5 as to make selection.

If you face the reverse problem; means your PC keyboard is not worked, and then you can use your PC mouse as keyboard’s alternative. What you have to do? Nothing just Start>> All programs>> Accessories>> Accessibility and select On screen Keyboard. You type whatever  you want through mouse.

Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true"

Set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to some number like 30

Here “30” represent your Mozilla internet browser will able to receive 30 requests at a time.

Let right button mouse click in a blank space and add new Integer like New> Integer. Rename it as "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set value “0” that make browser faster to receive information and web page loading speed become more fast. 

Now restart your internet browser.

2. Increase/Decrease browser cash 

Firefox automatically load site’s image and script in its local memory cash. That helps to increase page loading. If your PC’s RAM is more than 2GB, you can increase your browser memory cash.

Type: about:config and press ENTER. Find out browser.cache.memory.capacity and restart your browser after setting value “65536”.

If your PC’s RAM is 520MB or 1GB, you may set memory cash value “15000”.

3. Install Fasterfox

This extension increases your browser speed. You may automatically set networking and rendering settings like simultaneous connections, pipelining, cache, DNS cache, and initial paint delay etc. Install Fastfox

After you have downloaded and installed the program, the license key must be inserted into it within 60 days. The only thing I don’t like about its funky media player style interface.

AVG 8.5 Free

AVG Technology's AVG 8.5 Free antivirus application has solid features and a generally polished interface, but its relatively lackluster showing at malware detection pulled it down to third place compared with the first two free antiviruses. AVG detected 95.8 percent of AV-Test.org's malware zoo of about half a million Trojan horses, worms, spyware, and other nasties. It’s capable of both automatically updating and removing threats. This is especially useful if you want to set this up on a friend's computer who is not so computer literate.

However, AVG Antivirus free has grown considerably in size and resource usage, and has very slow scan speeds. AVG also had continuous problems with updating signatures on my computer. AVG has advertisements, but they can be disabled.

How to Recover Data from Scratched or Corrupted CDs and DVDs

Every user has had trouble with a scratched CD. In the case of data CDs (CD-ROM), the drive cannot properly read the CD, giving rise to reading errors. In the case of audio CDs, the CD skips when we play it.

The first thing to do when coming across a CD with a read error is to clean it, to check whether it the error is not being caused by a dirty surface. You can even wash the CD gently with VCD CLEANER. If the error persists, try reading or playing the CD on another drive. If another drive (or CD player, in the case of audio CDs) gives the same result (read error or skipping, in the case of audio CDs), it will mean that the CD is scratched. I have discussed three ways to recover data from scratched or corrupted CDs and DVDs.

Freeware application CD Recovery Toolbox is made specifically to read the portions of a CD that are readable in an effort to rescue as much data as possible from a damaged disc. It finds the possible maximum amount of information. After that, it shows a list of all files and folders available for recovery. Now the user can select the files and folders to be recovered. Those specific objects will be recovered while the others will be ignored. The program recovers the maximum amount of information in the damaged file.

If that doesn't work, you may want to give a look at the 30-day trial of shareware application CDCheck . With CDCheck you can check your CDs and discover which files are corrupted. By using the program proactively, you can insure that your data on CD-ROMs are safe -- before it's too late!

Then again, if scratches are the issue, you may be able to get away with simply fixing your scratched CD or DVD yourself, just polish the CD with toothpaste. I am not making a fun. That’s right, Toothpaste. Polish the scratches with a cotton swab, rubbing gently the paste-imbue swab over the scratches until they disappear or until you notice that you have removed them as far as possible. Sometimes the paste may cause new scratching, but it will be merely superficial and easily removed. After clearing the scratches, wash the CD in water. If there are still scratches that the toothpaste has not managed to removed, use a metal polish (Brasso) in the same way as described above. Finally, rub Vaseline on the CD, very gently (do not press hard), from moving out from the centre to the rim.

The last step will be testing the CD. If it starts working properly, great. If not, repeat the above procedure, looking for the scratch that is causing the error and concentrating your polishing efforts on it.
