Insert image in mail message body

Sunday, May 2, 2010

Very easily you can insert image in mail message body. Gmail Labs creates this option. If you have no gmail account, sign up a gmail account and follow the instruction to insert image in mail message body. Two alternative options are available to insert image in mail message body.

Option One:
  • Click on Documents >Google Docs (on the left top of your page)

  • Click on Create New and select Document

  •  Select Insert>Image and upload file from your hard disk or website

  • Copy (Ctrl+C) the uploaded image and paste (Ctrl+V) it in your mail body

  • Send image to your friends without attachment.

Option two:

Gmail Labs is not available in all internet browsers. If your internet browser is Internet Explorer 7.0+ or Firefox 2.0+ or Safari 3.0+ or Google Chrome you use gmail Labs. Using gmail Labs you can easily insert image in mail compose body without going to google docs.
  • Click on Settings (which is on the right top of your gmail page)>Labs and enable inserting image. (See the screenshot in the below.)

  • Now you can see insert image button on your composer. No need to go google docs to insert image. (See the screenshot in the below.)

So buddy, send your favorite picture to your friends without attachment
