I always prefer Mozilla Firefox as internet browser because of its high speed internet surfer capability, ensuring security and having so many add-ons.  At Present about 22.98% net user use Mozilla Firefox as internet browser. Everyday so many net users switch to Firefox browser. Its popularity increases day by day. Today we are going know a small trick about how to make more speed up Mozilla Firefox internet browser.

1. Enable pipeline
In general, at a time browser receive only one web page request.  If you enable pipeline, then your browser can receive so many web page request at a time that increase page loading.
To enable pipeline let type in your browser address bar:  about:config and then press ENTER.
Now you see a warning message. Click here: I`l be careful, I promise
A new window is come. Now let find out these line:
    network.http.pipelining network.http.proxy.pipelining
    network.http.pipelining.maxrequests
AND, set browser setting like below:
    Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true"

    Set "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true"

Set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to some number like 30
Here “30” represent your Mozilla internet browser will able to receive 30 requests at a time.
Let right button mouse click in a blank space and add new Integer like New> Integer. Rename it as "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set value “0” that make browser faster to receive information and web page loading speed become more fast.
    Now restart your internet browser.

    2. Increase/Decrease browser cash

Firefox automatically load site’s image and script in its local memory cash. That helps to increase page loading. If your PC’s RAM is more than 2GB, you can increase your browser memory cash.
Type: about:config and press ENTER. Find out browser.cache.memory.capacity and restart your browser after setting value “65536”.
If your PC’s RAM is 520MB or 1GB, you may set memory cash value “15000”.

    3. Install Fasterfox
This extension increases your browser speed. You may automatically set networking and rendering settings like simultaneous connections, pipelining, cache, DNS cache, and initial paint delay etc. Install Fastfox

      4. Block Flash
Now-a-days you find so many websites consist of unnecessary flash contents. These unnecessary flash contents liable to slow your browser speed. You may block these flash contents through Flashblock content. Click here to add this ad-ons.

          Best free antivirus

          Monday, October 5, 2009

Virus! Warm! Malware! A common headache for all computer users. All time you have to anxious about viruses, Trojans, worms and other malware. With the huge increase in malware includes virus, Trojan, worm, spyware, adware, dialers, keylogger and rootkit threats, antivirus software cannot keep up with detecting all of it. But using more than one real-time antivirus uses much more system resources, can cause conflicts and even reduce protection. So I would like to share with you some of the best free antivirus programs available that ranks all antivirus software based on how successful they are at removing viruses.
Avira AntiVir Personal is a reliable free antivirus solution that constantly and rapidly scans your computer for malicious programs such as viruses, Trojans, backdoor programs, hoaxes, worms, dialers etc. In AV-Test.org tests, AntiVir's 98.9 percent overall malware detection rate was the best among the software on our chart. It is very light on resources and the detection rate of malware is outstanding, however, there are some reservations.
First, AntiVir does not include e-mail scanning; this is only available in the paid version. Second, AntiVir's updates are very slow, and occasionally get interrupted with server problems. Third, AntiVir has advertisements that appear with every update, although you can disable these ads. Also, you can disable AntiVir's splash screen if you wish, as some people find it intrusive.
Avira AntiVir Personal is a comprehensive, easy to use antivirus program, designed to offer reliable free of charge virus protection to home-users, for personal use only, and is not for business or commercial use.
Avast Home Edition is one of the best free antivirus programs available, offers capable malware detection and faster-than-average scan speed. It's also the only app that scans Web traffic for malware (AVG 8.5 Free's LinkScanner scans Web traffic for the attacks that can presage malware, but not for the malware itself), and it scans e-mail traffic as well. In AV-Test.org malware-detection tests, the program blocked a respectable 98.2 percent of samples out of a malware "zoo" consisting of about a half-million files. It is fairly light on resources, and is also the only antivirus to continue support for older Windows platforms.

On the other hand, Avast has a relatively high rate of false positives. Avast antivirus Home Edition is free to use but it is necessary to register before the end of the initial 60 day trial period. Following the registration you will receive by e-mail a license key valid for a period of 1 year, which can be renewed upon expiration. After you have downloaded and installed the program, the license key must be inserted into it within 60 days. The only thing I don’t like about its funky media player style interface.
AVG Technology's AVG 8.5 Free antivirus application has solid features and a generally polished interface, but its relatively lackluster showing at malware detection pulled it down to third place compared with the first two free antiviruses. AVG detected 95.8 percent of AV-Test.org's malware zoo of about half a million Trojan horses, worms, spyware, and other nasties. It’s capable of both automatically updating and removing threats. This is especially useful if you want to set this up on a friend's computer who is not so computer literate.
However, AVG Antivirus free has grown considerably in size and resource usage, and has very slow scan speeds. AVG also had continuous problems with updating signatures on my computer. AVG has advertisements, but they can be disabled.
These three free antivirus software are excellent free antivirus programs that provide a real alternative to the major commercial antivirus software. You can also use one of the free antivirus mentioned above as an on-demand antivirus scanner.

OR, you can experience with some other free antivirus software such as-

Microsoft Security Essentials / Comodo Internet Security
Free Norton Antivirus and Spyware Doctor / BitDefender Free Edition
